A Career Guidance and Counseling Cell is an integral part of any higher educational institution. The cell plays an important role in a student’s college life since the ultimate aim of a higher education is to make an individual a self-sufficient and self-reliant with full job satisfaction.
The Career Guidance and Counseling Cell, IGG College, Tezu, aims to provide any type of guidance and counseling related to career choices and career options for the students, starting from the selection of subjects in 1st semester and opting of major in 5th semester, since for most students, the subjects they choose will further lead them towards their future career.
The cell provides information about the courses that a student can take-up after his/her graduation – informs about the schedule for form fill-up/entrance test, etc., and help clear any doubts relating to form fill-up process.
Since the admission in most of the eminent/prominent higher educational institutions is only through the clearance of an entrance test. The CGC Cell tends to conduct special classes/coaching for the 6th semesters students to prepare for any entrance exams.
