Indira Gandhi Govt. College, Tezu, is a model centre of higher learning and research in the eastern region of Arunachal Pradesh. Being a unique initiative in the field of higher education in Dawnlit Hills, this institution aims to emerge as a vital educational hub devoted to both qualitative teaching and state-of-the-art research . The Dawnlit Review (TDR) is a Multi-Disciplinary biannual and bilingual (English and Hindi) peer reviewed research journal of this reputed institution. The journal is conceived as a platform for academic research with a strong commitment to facilitate critical inquiry and scholarly discourse in Social Sciences, Humanities, Sciences and Commerce & Management. It develops a forum for faculty, researchers, scientists, and educators from different disciplines to publish their original research study and exchange new ideas that engages with contemporary developments in multi-disciplinary fields.
Frequency of Publication : The Dawnlit Review is a biannual journal published twice a year (Februay–July and August –January).

AIM:

Primarily, the journal focuses on critical and creative research in multi disciplinary fields. This journal seeks to publish original empirical research and theoretical studies and cultivate  meaningful  academic dialogues on a broad range of topics significant to contemporary society, polity, culture and economy. In addition to research articles , the journal also aims at publishing  book reviews and conference proceedings. In line with  the vision of IGGC, the journal is to enhance a knowledge  society with a focus on holistic and multidisciplinary studies and research as well as  facilitating the empowerment and development of under-privileged communities.

SCOPE:

The journal promotes scholarly discourse and original research   in Social Sciences, Humanities, Sciences and Commerce & Management. Guidelines for the Authors
• Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Research Articles: 4000–6000 words ( including abstract , Key words, notes and references)
• Book Reviews: 1000–1,500 words
• Citation & Reference Style: APA (7th Edition)
• Format: MS Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 spaced and for Hindi articles, it should be in Kruti Dev 10 in MS Word with proper margin on each side.
• The cover page should contain (i) the title of the article (ii) the name(s) of the authors (iii) Professional/official affiliation and (iv) address for correspondence with e mail and Mob No.
• In order to facilitate blind review , the name(s) of author (s) should not appear on the first page or any of the pages of the manuscript .
• Each manuscript should contain an abstract of not exceeding 250 words followed by a set of 3 to 5 key words arranged alphabetically.
• In case of articles with two or more authors, the corresponding author must be indicated.
• Author(s) must declare that the article has not been submitted to any other publisher for publication.
Publication Ethics :
• The Dawnlit Review is committed to follow internationally recognized standards of publication ethics. It adheres to the guidelines prescribed by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)..
• All submitted manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism check and AI detection using Turnitin or Dilbrit However, the authors may submit plagiarism report using these two platforms

Permissible Similarity :
• ≤ 10% similarity (excluding references, quotation, bibliography, table of content, preface , acknowledgement, symbols and generic terms )

Further, the Dawnlit Review follows the following ethics standards :
• Plagiarism and Self- Plagiarism are strictly prohibited;
• Publishing the same article in more than one Journal is prohibited;
• Submitting the article to more than one journal simultaneously is an unethical behavior;
• Publishing the same article in different languages is prohibited.
Peer Review Process :
All articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process which takes two to four weeks. After receiving the article , the same will undergo editorial process in respect of scope, format and plagiarism. Then the article will be sent to external reviewers . On the basis of peer review report , editorial board may-
Accept; or
Ask the author for Minor Revision; or
Ask the authorfor Major Revision; or
Reject.
