Dr. SUKANTA KUMAR PRADHAN (b.1980) is presently working as Assistant Professor in Education (Selection Grade, Stage-III) at Indira Gandhi Government College, Tezu under Government of Arunachal Pradesh. He did his Graduation from Banki College (Autonomous), Banki under Utkal University with Education (Hons) (Rank 6^th), Post-graduation in Education from Prestigious Ravenshaw University, Cuttack ,Odisha (1^st Class First , Gold Medalist), B.Ed. from IGNOU, New Delhi and PhD in Education from Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Doimukh, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. He had previously worked at Maharishi College of Natural Law, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and Hills College of Teacher Education, Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh before qualifying APPSC Examination in 2009. So far Dr. Pradhan has 21 years of teaching experience in various capacities at the College level, 26 publications in international Journals, 18 books and  1 Minor research projects completed funded by UGC, New Delhi. Besides, he has supervised more than 14 Dissertations at the M.Ed. and M.A in Education level under IGNOU, New Delhi. Dr. Pradhan has attended more than 50 National and international seminars/Webinars, presented 35 papers in National and international seminars and conferences, organized 5 numbers of National seminars funded by ICSSR, UGC  and the DHTE, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh. His thrust areas of research are Educational Measurement and Assessment, Human Rights Education, Curriculum Development, Educational and Vocational Guidance and Counselling, Teacher education, Higher education, Educational Research, Educational Psychology, Educational Philosophy and Educational Technology.

No awards yet. As far as achievements are concerned Education department is one of the best performing departments of IGGC, Tezu which is evident from the academic achievements year after years and the incumbent has tried his best to guide the students to accomplish this task.
